The beer is very tasty and the overall concept is consistent. The waiters were very friendly. You'd love to come back there.

Roast pork and kale are great. Fried potatoes (sometimes very mushy) still have plenty of room for improvement. Prices okay. Good hygiene concept.

The food (Hansen's beef burger) was ok but nothing special. Friendly service but sometimes out of place.

A quaint brewery restaurant. Delicious pils and solid rustic food. The food was excellent, the service very friendly and attentive. I would like to come back if the journey is not long (600km)

I have eaten here many times through the years. Last time in August 2020. Very nice restaurant with excellent food. I recommend eating inside instead of outside to avoid the chainsmokers. It's very unpleasant to eat with the stench of cigarettes. The restaurant should ban smoking on the premises.

I stopped in, as I was traveling through Germany years ago. The food was amazing and the Manager of the restaurant was so welcoming and helpful. I did not speak fluent German so I was given a menu in English. I am not a beer drinker, but thought I should have a small sample of this dark brew that they were making in the large room behind the bar. It was not bad for a girl who doesn't like the taste of beer. The coolest thing I saw while I was there, was a couple walk in for drinks/dinner with their golden retriever. The bartender put their drinks on the bar and immediately walked from behind the bar with a water bowl of fresh water for their dog! This was definitely my kind of place! I would post photos of the meal, the beer, and the dog, but they are on a harddrive somewhere! If you are in the area and want a great meal and friendly service, I highly recommend this place!!

Delicious food and friendly service. The beer and the beer brandy taste great. All in all, a solid eatery with home-style cooking. We liked it. Ok, the service could be a little more on the ball, but that is the well-known "grumbling on a high level".

The ‘Fördeteller’ was quite simply the best mixed fish plate I have ever eaten. Their in-house brewed Pilsner was also fantastic. Perfect lunch!

Delicious beer and food, friendly but not very attentive service. Empty glasses are simply ignored. But those who make themselves noticeable will be served promptly.

Always order Schweine Haxe and this time was no exception. However, got far from the good experience as we usually do. Incredibly poor seating, 2 x very thirsty pork dishes, and sour waiters who did not come despite our repeated inquiries Too bad for Hansen's Brauerei, because we will probably find another place next time

Really good tasty German food and the bear is amazing. I particularly liked the Weißbier. Simply Fantastic. I have to say that unfortunately the service was disappointing. The waitress had no patience with us when most of group couldn’t understand the German menu and was a therefore a bit slow in deciding. It was devastating for her and she managed to make us feel unwelcome.

Nice restaurant. And very nice staff. The food is also very good and you can get out a ball The Covid protection concept is also very good. After every guest the table is disinvited and you have to give your contact details in case of an emergency. What I think is good. Keep it up.

We gave the brewery one more chance yesterday, (have been there once before and got sour meat and poor service). Was referred to a table outdoors as everything was said to be recorded indoors. When the waitress finally came and cleaned off and shuffled around a bit with a cloth, we asked politely politely if there might be a table available inside in a quarter of an hour, the answer was a resounding NO !! Then the cup overflowed and we left the place while she stood with fluttering arms and was offended. Rude service. That was probably the last chance.

Great beer, staff and nice cosy cafe. Was able to buy a beermug (photo) there cheaply, very fancy! Personally I love their 'Hansens pilsener', which to me tasted like blond beer.

Very bad food, probably everything TK. Ribs 15.50 € Please try garbage yourself and Knuckle everything dry. Coleslaw was ok, but great waitress with humor and courtesy, fast service. The beer is great too. The next time you visit the far north, don't come back! Tourist trap. One star for the service A star for the beer

Preserved, the beer is good, but here you think you have to have a wienerschnitzel in its homeland with the whole molevit .... In comes a paper thin piece of meat that has been in the wishing well, no boy with capers, horseradish and anchovy on top, flapped fried potatoes and a bowl half a boring salad, practice for a disappointment

The beer is great, but the service... arrogant and malignant is a good description! You will not feel pleasant in this tense atmosphere. Just read other reviews about the service, all truth. Avoid.

A great restaurant. Kitchen very good. Nordic tart service as it should be in a brewery. We were very satisfied. Gladly again if it wasn't that far for us.

Nice place, went there 5 yrs ago and wanted to return. Not easy to convince the staff to sit inside though but the food hasn't changed.

Great inn with great service. During Corona times, hygiene regulations are exemplary. We felt we were in very good hands. The beer and food were delicious.

Beer good, food good (it's just a brewery - not a gourmet restaurant) - large portions at a fair price. We were served very friendly and felt very comfortable. Gladly again.

Historical brewery (from 1781), still active, and now a peculiar spot to visit if you pass by Flensburg. Vast choice if food and drinks, it wpso hostsa small museum of brewery machines.

The waitress was worse than the food! Stay away and have a nice time elsewhere. Never have I ever met such an arrogance.

You can enjoy mellow beer at this brewery facing the water. Many people drank beer in small 0.25 liter mugs. Everyone is eating out due to the influence of corona. The food is delicious, so I relaxed while watching the scenery.

Great food and amazing Service

Not sure what I love more, the food or the beer! And if you are fortunate to be there when the weather is nice (in Flensburg always a big IF) sitting on the outdoor patio is a great way to spend the evening.

If it just was about the beer, this place would be superior already, but the food is actually great and the staff is really friendly, fast and very professional. Enjoy it and be prepared for a treat. Check out the seasonal offers to get a great deal. Don't get drunk too fast, order some water too, otherwise you might get wasted if you drink all the beer your taste buds demand. These beers taste like: too much is not enough.

Great food for great price in Flensburg! Local Helles and Bierkutscher steak is perfect combination!

The most northern german brewery. Good beers, recommend the schwarz bier. Traditional german cuisine with good service. Recommended!

The 3 stars are for good food and beer. I would have given 5 stars but a lady waiter stole from me by giving herself tip without asking. She didn't give my balance back neither gave any explanation. That is stealing.

Waited 90 minutes for the food and when we complained, we were told that they were not a McDonalds. One of our kids had a burger and I can tell you that a 5 minute burger from McDs beats the 90 minute burger from this poor excuse of a restaurant hands down. We also noticed other tables who ordered way after us getting served way before us. Your choice reader but this place is only going to improve if people vote with their feet.

Absolutely horrible service. The waiter forgot us twice. Waited for 80 min for the food and 20 min for the bill. Had to ask the waiter on both occasions. The food was really bad.

Delicious beer, try the dark. It's served directly from the barrels, not through a keg. It's a true tap beer and you can taste it. I highly suggest the pork shoulder with potatoes. Staff wasn't fast but they were efficient, very admirable considering how busy they were.

Great place! The atmosphere and the interior decorations are so cozy and nice, but the outside terrace is great as well even if it's right next to a relatively traffic-heavy road. The service was really good, the food was nice and tasty (both the curry wurst and the American salad) but the beer was even better. Absolutely make sure to taste some of their own beer!

Visited with wife and daughter on Thursday evening, the restaurant was very busy....a good sign. We were promptly greeted and invited in, but told that wait time on food was 45 minutes...not in a hurry, so no problem. The atmosphere is great. Wait staff was friendly and helpful. Food and drink was outstanding. Price was very reasonable. We had a great experience, highly recommend Hansens Brauerei.
